  10.      Minesweeper is a fast paced puzzle game.  A field of squares
  11. is laid out before you.  Beneath a set number of these squares lies
  12. a land mine.  Your task is to mark off these mines and prevent them
  13. from detonating.  You can accomplish this by uncovering select
  14. squares.  If no mine lies beneath it, then a number appears.  This
  15. is the number of mines (from 1 to 8) surrounding that square.  If
  16. no mines lies around it, then those eight squares are automatically
  17. uncovered.  If a mine lies beneath the uncovered square, then it
  18. detonates and the game is over.  You must mark each square in which
  19. you believe a mine lies with a flag.  The object of the game is to
  20. mark each mine on the field with a flag in the shortest time
  21. possible.

  27.     All the big words aside, let's just get right to the point:

  29.     I made this game, and that's my business.  It works for me, I don't know
  30.     about you.  For all I know, it could work beautifully on your computer, it
  31.     could make it blow up, or it could cause it go into a deep depression.  I
  32.     can't say for sure.  If it screws you up, don't come crying to me - I
  33.     warned you.

  35.     Again, I made this game, and that's my business.  I give you the right to
  36.     copy it and pass it along to anyone you may or may not know, so long as
  37.     it has not been tampered with, and all parts are included.  If you enjoy
  38.     the game, please send me about $5 - $10 Canadian or American to the address
  39.     given at the end of this document.  If you don't pay me after about 30
  40.     days, you should delete every part of this package.  Do not send disks.
  41.     There is no registered version of this game - you've got everything.  I
  42.     just want my part.
